It has definitely been awhile since my last post. Nothing new there. My last post was about me preparing for a race I signed up for. Well the pandemic happened and my race got cancelled just a few days before it happened. It was changed into a virtual race, which means you run the same distance on your own and upload your results to a website. Not as fun. I was a few seconds short of my 10 minute/mile goal, and while i was super disappointed in myself, i'm still here. For now.
I also started a new job at the same time. If i was scheduled to start a week later i would not have had a job (yay pandemic) so i got really lucky there. The new job has been going well. The training process is slow but i'm getting through it as fast as i can. Being new at a company during these times gives a very uncertain feeling so i'm trying to make myself as useful as i can, as fast as i can. You'd think, with having extra time on my hands because of everything going on, tat i would be productive and get stuff done, or, i dont know, pay more attention to writing and posting here. All of those things have definitely been on my mind while i sit on the couch and do nothing instead. I have been thinking about what to post. I thought about doing an update post for all of the reviews i have done so far and that idea is in the lead. I just recently ordered from Curology after seeing the ad five million times on Instagram and Facebook, so I will definitely give my opinion on that in a month or two after i have tried it. I also have been working on an idea for a fitness-related post in my head for awhile. I guess i should start writing some notes on paper and put it together. The original idea was exercises you can do during the day at work. What is interesting for me about this idea is that it is definitely evolving as my workplace has changed and the exercises that would have worked at my previous job will not necessarily work at my current job. So definitely finding exercises that work in all different work environments will be a challenge. My idea is not to stop what your doing at work and exercise (ain't nobody got time for that), but to find little things you can do throughout your day that add up. And also things you can do that are not obvious to everyone around you. Now if i could only finish one of these ideas and post it.
